NOTE TO PARENTS ABOUT EMPLOYMENT FOR STUDENTS
We are delighted that you are interested in having your student join The Great thou Art Camp support staff as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT), Junior Counselor or Senior Counselor this summer! We have found that it is important for the students themselves to take care of the application process – from inquiry to interview. Not only are we interested in their perspectives, but it is excellent practice for life! Feel free to encourage, perhaps proofread, or practice interview questions – we all appreciate that kind of support. Ultimately though, it will be their potential job. Our most successful counselors accept this responsibility and enjoy taking ownership in what can be a significant part of their summer.
