Daughters of the King
The Daughters of the King is an Order for women in the Episcopal Church with chapters in the Roman Catholic and in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Daughters are dedicated to prayer and service for Christ’s sake.
Daughters of the King is a world wide lay order organized in 1885. At St. Aidan’s we meet in the Likowski Hall library on the third Tuesday of the month immediately following 10:00 a.m. communion and healing service.
As Daughters we make a lifelong pledge of prayer, service and evangelism. We see our Order as a community of nurturing women, accepting all people, bridging differences and cherishing traditions. In the 21st century, empowered by the Holy Spirit our vision is to encourage and enable all to be reflections of God’s love. You are invited to visit us and see what we do. Our arms are outstretched to welcome you.
