Children’s Sunday School Program

Sunday School starts September 23. Your help is needed:

teaching, co-teaching, subbing, lesson planning, sorting and filing, picture taking, washing toys, removing broken items (crib in the nursery), checking supplies and restocking, washing curtains and overseeing the first Sunday of the month children/families.

The school is open during the office hours so feel free to come during the week and help us get ready for our fall Sunday School. Questions? Call Shirley Vidito.

Here at St. Aidan’s we have a small, but growing, group of children who participate weekly in the Sunday School Program. Presently, we are using a liturgically based curriculum called "Seasons of the Spirit." The children meet at 9:45 for a brief Children's Chapel service, after which they break into their particular class groups and participate in Sunday School for approximately 45 minutes. At that time they proceed over to the "big" church and join their families for Communion.

We continue our tradition of "First Sunday," meaning that on the first Sunday of each month there is no Sunday School. Rather, the children attend "big" church, participating in the service themselves as ushers, greeters, readers, acolytes, etc. And, instead of his regular sermon, Fr. Scott does an object lesson related to that Sunday’s lesson.

Nursery is every Sunday 9:45am to 11:30am

Come join us! There’s room for everyone!
