| Fund Raising
at St. Aidan's Fund raising
at St. Aidan’s are multifaceted events put on to bolster the general
operating fund, those for special projects, and those by individual
groups to raise money for their group’s operation, activities or
projects.
The annual fund raisers are the Annual Crab and Shrimp Feed, the Rummage Sales and the Wintergarden craft fair.

Annual Crab and Shrimp Feed -
This event is held annually on the last weekend of February with
sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is an all you can eat,
no doggie bags, sit down dinner served of shelled fresh Dungeness
Crab, Northwest Shrimp, salad, hot French bread and ice cream. The
2007 event had a sale of 1,380 tickets raising money for St. Aidan's
parish life and outreach in the community. With eight sessions being
sold out and over 100 folks turned away, we are considering adding an
ninth session in
2008. If you would like to be added to the Crab Feed mailing list,
please send your name and address to:
St. Aidan's Episcopal Church
PO Box 1319
Gresham, OR 97030
Attention: Crab Feed
before the first of October. We send the Crab Feed flyers out the
middle of November because a large number of people purchase the
tickets for Christmas presents. More news about the event as we near
the end of 2007.
The Rummage Sales - Sale of donated items in good or excellent condition. This ranges from furniture, sporting goods, household items and clothing. Sale held spring and fall. The sale is open to the community and does a service to those seeking quality buys at great prices and provides a source of a shopping outlet for the needy.
